How We Research, Check & Correct Our Guides
Our practical verification process, local field notes, and transparent correction workflow for travelers across Gujarat and India.
1. Our Real-World Focus
Bharat Travel Guide started in Navsari, Gujarat, with a simple goal: explain travel places the way we would to a friend. Rather than copy-pasting generic travel descriptions, we prioritize actionable facts that affect your trip—when gates actually open, what a local guide costs, whether the road has potholes, and which spots are overcrowded or skip-worthy.
2. How We Verify Timings & Logistics
Travel details shift seasonally. We verify data through a multi-step check:
- Official Primary Records: Temple darshan timings, aarti schedules, and ticket fees are confirmed directly through official trust sites (such as Shree Somnath Trust, Dwarkadhish Mandir Trust, ASI circulars, and state transport boards).
- Local On-Ground Experience: For trails, waterfalls, and hill roads in South Gujarat and Saurashtra (e.g. Dang waterfalls, Saputara, Wilson Hills, Girnar, Somnath-Dwarka circuit), we draw upon personal visits and local contributors who know current road and weather conditions.
- Honest Gaps: When an official schedule is unavailable or season-dependent, we state that clearly rather than guessing.
3. Independent Editorial Integrity
We do not accept payments to rate destinations or publish promotional puff pieces. If an attraction has safety issues (such as slippery rocks at monsoon waterfalls or lack of drinking water), our guide explicitly warns visitors.
Found a Timing Change? Suggest a Correction
If an aarti timing has changed, a trail is closed, or a fee has been updated, email us at hello@bharattravelguide.com. We review corrections within 24 to 48 hours and update the "Last checked" note on the article.
